Strange Swords & Sorcerous Speculations
By the power of Grayskull, have I been getting pulpy. Information on a brand new Kickstarter and a book club panel this coming Wednesday inside.

This is a short one, folks, as I’m only here to update you on two things: A brand-new Kickstarter and an upcoming panel I’ll be on.
Shatter the Sun Kickstarter
Neon Hemlock is back at it again; this time, your boy is one of the solicited stories.
Shatter the Sun: Queer Tales of Untold Adventure will be an anthology of pulp heroism in conversation with Samuel R. Delany's Nevèrÿon, Conan and Red Sonja, Imaro and Xena. The Kickstarter launched a few days ago, so if you’d like to read a new story I’m writing with werejaguars, thick jungles, dark magic, and betrayal, be sure to check the project out here and throw some support behind it.
Sword & Sorcery Book Club
New Edge Sword & Sorcery is an online and print magazine that is made with a love for the classics and believes in an inclusive, boundary-pushing approach to storytelling.
I’ve been invited to participate in their monthly discussion book club panel, this Wednesday at 4pm PST/7pm EST to discuss The Fortress Unvanquishable, Save for Sacnoth, written by Lord Dunsany in 1908. This story is considered to be one of his best and a major influence on sword and sorcery, weird, and fantasy.
Use this link to sign up to be notified on YouTube to watch this free panel. And if you’d like to read the story beforehand, it’s available for free all over the internet as both text and audiobook.
I’ve been keeping busy in both great and less great ways, but I’ll have more for you soon, don’t worry. I’ve still got that previously unpublished story waiting in the wings to be shared.
But for now…
Be well, stay safe, love each other.
I believe that artist is Frank Frazetta.
